5) Attendance at Customer’s Property
The price quoted for our oven cleaning service covers costs for the technician’s attending a customer’s premises and inspection and testing of appliances before commencing cleaning. The price also includes labour charges, cleaning materials and solutions for cleaning purposes. It is the customers responsibility to inform our technician of any known issues with the appliance prior to the work taking place. If you are aware of any issues at time of booking, it is the customers responsibility to make this apparent to the technicians. If upon inspection of appliances, a fault or damage is discovered, this is will be pointed out and where appropriate a customer may be requested to sign a disclaimer or be advised on a remedy, repair or need for spare parts before cleaning commences. Any additional work is then charged in addition to the cleaning booked.
6) Cleaning Of Appliances
If an appliance to be cleaned is built into a unit or fitted between units, it cannot be removed by a technician for cleaning purposes. If an oven is a stand-alone appliance, it also cannot be pulled out to be cleaned. This is for customers and technician’s safety, so please refrain from requesting the technician to facilitate moving of such appliances. Only internal parts from the appliance, such as stainless-steel racking, shelving, side plates, top plates, oven bulbs covers etc can be removed to enable access to internal areas of an appliance for cleaning. Mechanical or electrical components will not be removed whilst cleaning. There must be a reasonable amount of space provided around the appliances to work safely.
7) Parking (Reserving Spaces & Permits)
A parking space is required for our vehicle directly outside of the customers front/back/side door. This is imperative from a Health & Safety aspect as we use gas burners in the vehicles. Our technicians can refuse to carry out any work if suitable parking is not available to carry out his/her job in a safe and timely manner. Our technicians will not, under any circumstances, park illegally or dangerously. Where appropriate, it is the responsibility of customers to provide technicians with necessary parking vouchers/permits when arriving at premises to conduct work. If permits are deemed not necessary, and parking tickets are issued by the authorities, the customer is responsible for paying the said parking fee/fine. Failure to supply suitable parking as above, will result in our technicians being unable to carry out the work and a call-out charge of 50% of the cost of the booked value will be applicable.

If the oven clean is rescheduled (after the environment has been rendered safe), the customer will be charged a fee equivalent to 50% of the cost of the booked work value. Any and all electric, gas or oil supply must be in fully working order and the appliance must be in fully working condition to allow Olympic Oven Cleaning to clean. Olympic Oven Cleaning will also require a hot water supply to allow completion of the oven clean. Failure in Olympic Oven Cleaning not being able to complete clean due to any of these factors may result in a fee. If a customer is rude to our technicians, or they are abused or disrespected, they will refuse to carry out the work and leave the property immediately.
12) Use of Customers Equipment
Olympic Oven Cleaning will ask to use your hot water supply to complete the oven clean.
13) Completion of Work
On completion of the work, it is the customers responsibility to ensure they are satisfied with the work undertaken. If there is anything the customer is not happy with, it must be mentioned at this time. All appliances are checked to ensure they are in working order prior to our technicians leaving the customers property. Therefore, unless something is noted, all services shall be deemed to have been carried out to the Customer’s satisfaction. Any complaints after our technicians have left, Olympic Oven Cleaning cannot accept liability for, although we may still endeavour to help resolve the issue. Any additional costs or repairs incurred are the responsibility of the customer
14) Replacement Parts
Olympic Oven Cleaning does not carry out any routine or unscheduled repairs whilst cleaning the oven. This includes electrical checks, gas checks and servicing of appliances.
